Purchased this game to take to a bachelor party and I think I got my money's worth in one weekend. In addition to the campsite, we had it set up on a beach, and dozens of fellow boaters approached to learn what the game was and where they could get it. This truly is a fun game. After several hours of heavy usage (drunken bachelor party goers--who weren't as kind to the set as could be) it came out of the party with some minor dents and plenty of grass stains. Pretty excellent in my opinion.

The service was fabulous -- soon after ordering, we received our Kubb Game. We purchased it for our family reunion (we're of Swedish descent)! Everyone loved it and the game was played all day. That day we played on the grass. However, a short time later, my daughter and her friends played it in less optimal setting and the set didn't hold up. The wood is pretty chipped up and just didn't survive well. So, just be aware that the wood is soft and think about where you play!

i was really excited when i found kubb on amazon. totally worth the money. yes, you could make it yourself without too much difficulty. but after buying the material spending the time on it, it would be about the same to just buy it. and you get a nifty carrying bag
