I have worn the Protex on Centuries and many 20 mile+ rides. I am in south Florida where the temperature frequently exceeds 80 degrees and the humidity exceeds 80 percent.The Halo Protex will keep sweat from pouring off your scalp into your eyes. It will wick sweat away and cools your head. It protects from the sun. It does not retain heat on your head. It will keep sunscreen from running into your eyes. It does not develop "perma-stink" like many wicking fabrics. As with all cycling clothing, the price is disproportionate to the material used. That being said, shoot the lock off your purse and get two.
